- Couples must score in the Top 75% at Regionals. If there are three or fewer couples in a Regional event, all qualify.
- Couples must dance in one Regional Competition and one additional USA Dance competition (recognized Collegiate, Challenge, Open Championship, Regional Championship). These couples qualify regardless of placement.
- Couples must dance in any three competitions (recognized Collegiate, Challenge, Open Championship, Regional Championship). These couples will be qualified regardless of placement.
- Couples from Hawaii / Alaska must dance in one recognized competition (recognized Collegiate, Challenge, Open Championship, Regional Championship). These couples will be qualified regardless of placement.
- Senior V couples who intend to compete at Nationals 2024 “ONLY in Senior V events” do not need to qualify. However, if the couple wants to dance in an additional age category event, they must qualify to compete in that event.
- Full-time college students (35 and under) automatically qualify for Collegiate and will get the same level in the Adult category.
- However, full-time college students must qualify for non-collegiate Championship-level events, like all other couples.
- Those couples with mixed (one full-time college student and one non-college student) must qualify like all other couples for the Non-Collegiate Championship events
- There is no qualification for ShowDance, Solo Proficiency, Pro/Am, Teacher/Student, Mixed Proficiency, and Professional.
