Dear Athletes,
This letter is for those Championship-level couples and Solo competitors who are planning on attending a World Championship this year.
We are excited to share an exciting new initiative from USA Dance’s DanceSport Division: the launch of Team USA Dance, an organized team-based approach to international competition!
As part of this effort, we are coordinating participation in several key overseas events for 2025, where couples and solo competitors will travel and compete together as part of Team USA Dance, under the leadership of an appointed Team Coach. This coach will assist athletes on-site, provide strategic support during the competition, and help manage logistics and team communication.
We are currently looking to identify interested athletes for the following competitions:
1. Vienna, Austria – July 17–20, 2025
At least five USA Dance couples are already registered. This competition is only for Senior Dancers.
2. Stuttgart, Germany – August 17–24, 2025
Known as one of the most prestigious international events, many USA athletes have expressed interest in attending. We want to ensure proper coordination and visibility for our national team.
3. Vagos, Portugal – September 27–28, 2025
Hosting several World Championships. This competition is for all ages.
For 2025, our Team Coach will be Renata Shvarts, Athlete Liaison Chair for USA Dance. She will be your primary point of contact and team leader throughout each competition.
