A brief news update on DanceSport items of interest.

Dear Athletes,

From the BAC, this is a brief news update on all things primarily of interest, to the competitive side of USA Dance:

  1. The 2025 Rulebook, the various appendices and the link to everyone’s proficiency points can be found on the USA Dance website, under the “Ballroom” tab and then by scrolling down to the “Rules, Bylaws & Policy” tab. Go to the USA Dance Rulebook section, there you will find the latest Rulebook, the appendices and also the link for the Proficiency Points. If you click on the link at the end of the sentence “To see your current Proficiency Points, please click here you should be brought to the most recent Proficiency Points listing. The Chairman of the Eligibility Committee is updating this list a week or two after every competition we hold.
  2. New competitions are added to the Competition calendar on a regular basis. Please check back frequently.  All sanctioned competitions can be found on the American Dancer Competition Calendar, which is updated weekly. They can also be found on the USA Dance website.  Go to the “Ballroom” tab and scroll down to the “DanceSport Calendar” tab. Click on that tab, and you should be taken to the most current listing of all of our competitions.
