Editor’s Note: American Dancer got this one a little late. In the future, we will try to get the Chapter Chatter out to everyone in a timely manner.
Hello Dance Friends,
I am excited to help bring you our chapter chatter new letter. As we step into March, the days grow longer, the music gets livelier, and the dance floor calls! Whether you are cha-cha-ing into spring, or waltzing your way through social events, or simply enjoying the rhythm of movement, there is no better time to celebrate the joy of ballroom dancing! So, dust off your dance shoes, find a partner (or make a new one!), and let’s keep the energy high as we Waltz, Swing, Rumba, and Quickstep into another fantastic month of social dancing!
We are happy to announce that National Ballroom Dance Week is Sept 14-20, 2025. National Ballroom Dance week is a perfect time to establish lessons and dance events to promote your chapter and ballroom dance. Please remember to document all of your dance activities and send us your photos and videos for potential use in American Dancer and on social media to our marketing chair!
I am also very excited to report that we have re-opened previous chapters, and opened new chapters in 2024. I am working with a dedicated and excellent team of people that are just as dedicated to promoting ballroom dance as I am. I began ballroom dance 30 years ago and started in with USA Dance 29 years ago, back when we were known as USABDA. Currently, I am in my tenth year as President of my home chapter; Harrisburg #3009. My ambition is to combine my experience with the knowledge of my dedicated colleagues to expand our chapter base and promote ballroom dance across our great nation!
I look forward to seeing you on the dance floor!
At your service,
Ken Pandozzi
