National Training Camp Scheduled

Camp Scheduled January 16 in New York

The MAC will be hosting a USA Dance National Training Camp on January 16, 2023.  This camp will feature unique and talented coaches from all over the world.  These coaches are former World and European Champions and Finalists, as well as National Champions and Finalists of the countries they represented.  Some of the coaches are also top WDSF Adjudicators with vast experience judging numerous World Championships, Grand Slams, and World Open events.  The cumulative expertise of the coaches teaching at this National Training Camp will bring tremendous benefit to USA Dance athletes.

Camp organizers plan to have a very rigorous schedule with classes covering four styles, different age groups, rounds for each style, morning exercises, and a special class that will be a surprise.  The camp will be held at the Basic Ballroom in Staten Island, New York, a great facility of 10,000 sq feet that has four ballrooms and is able to accommodate 200 dancers.  This facility is conveniently located 25 minutes from the competition hotel.  The organizers will do their best to help dancers travel to the camp facility once they know how many will need transportation.

Camp participants will be offered a delicious homemade European-style buffet lunch for only $20.  The menu will include fresh salads, fish, meat and vegetarian options, and several side dishes.  The goal is to make this a wonderful experience for everyone.

Advance booking is recommended to guarantee a spot, because space is limited, and private lessons sell out very fast.  To find out more information about the camp or book private lessons, message Renata Shvarts at 347-307-3397.
