It was truly a special dance last night as those who have served in the military were honored by Tri-Cities Chapter 6060 of USA Dance. There was thunderous applause as their names were called. We appreciate all who have served our Country, they are special indeed.
Excellent dance music by the one and only Doug McRae who also taught a Swing lesson.
We were delighted to have Tony and Helen visiting from Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. They found out about our dance by searching the Internet. This proves there is some good information on the Internet! We hope they will return.
Very appropriate decorations by Board member Melissa Morris created the atmosphere for the evening. Kudos to these additional Board members who made it all happen: Louise Winheim, President; Mark Winheim, Treasurer; Jennifer Ambs, Secretary; Michael Maul, Vice President.
Mouthwatering refreshments were enjoyed by all. Jennifer’s Eagle was a big hit. It was so cute nobody wanted to “dig in,” but eventually, someone took the plunge. It tasted just as good as it looked.
