Ready or not the 2022 USA Dance Nationals are quickly approaching, April 1-3, 2022. The good thing is…you don’t have to qualify for Nationals. The bad thing is…you don’t have to qualify for Nationals, and you are not sure if you are ready. So, what is the solution? It’s USA Dance’s MidAtlantic Championships and, lucky for you, it is conveniently scheduled for March 19-20, 2022 – just two weeks prior to Nationals!
The USA Dance Mideastern Chapter with the help of Organizer Ronen Zinshtein, is orchestrating a quality event, and all are anxious to greet the competitors. Last year, this event was cancelled, due to the pandemic, but this year, the doors will open at a new location — Hilton Hotel McLean Tysons Corner, in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
Tysons Corner is a happening spot, located in Northern Virginia along Washington, DC’s Capital Beltway, between McLean and Vienna. Some call it, “America’s Next Great City.” Locals recognize it as a premier restaurant and shopping area, as it is home to the Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria — two huge, high-end shopping centers that boast being the largest in the DC area. Plus, the Nation’s Capital is less than 30 minutes away with its many museums, monuments, and sights. There is a lot to do!
MidAtlantic has always been a fun and well-organized competition, known for its large open floor and screaming spectators. It traditionally draws large numbers of serious competitors due to its proximate timing to the National event. Registration will soon be opening, so watch for USA Dance announcements and check the website at: https://midatlanticdancesport.org/ .
There is no other way to say it: if you aren’t sure if you are ready for USA Dance Nationals, here’s your last chance. Bring your new partner, new costumes, new shoes, new hair style, new jewelry, and new choreography, or…just dust off your old ones (well, maybe not your partner), but don’t miss the USA Dance 2022 MidAtlantic Championships!
