One, Two Three…Hot Off the Presses

Hello Seniors!

USA Dance 2024 is on fire.  The MAC had over 360 competitors, ADC was a highly successful event, Southeastern DanceSport Regional hosted some 400 competitors with some quarterfinal rounds, many semi-final rounds and, of course, some exciting Championship heats. The collegiate and adult competitors brought energy and enthusiasm. Let’s keep building the momentum through Nationals and the rest of the year!

 

We have three items for you.

 

1) There is a new one-day competition right around the corner.

• DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Airport

• The next USA Dance Academy National Training camp is Sunday, March 3rd in Staten Island, New York. Attendance at the camp will fulfill the requirement to attend a World Championship as a TeamUSA member.
  

 

2) The BAC met on February 7, 2024. We considered some rule changes, many of which were suggested by the Senior Committee. More rule changes will be considered at the next meeting, These actions by the BAC rules are contingent upon approval by the USA Dance Board of Directors. If approved, they will be in effect after Nationals. (See Attached).

 

3) We have updated and attached the competition calendar again.  Don’t forget you can find this information and more at: AmericanDancer.org.
